How long will the starter last?
I have a 2005 Nissan Altima with 115k miles; my daily commute is about 60 miles round trip all interstate. About 2 weeks ago at start there was the clicking sound, I got a new battery the best one, on Sunday the car was once again slow to start. Per the quick check at Auto zone, its the starter (this is discovered 2 weeks after my $90 on a battery.) I MUST get to work will I make it until Friday?

Most likely yes. But its hard to predict these things haha. Get one as soon as possible. CHeck your battery cables for corrosion. This can definitely cause slow starts. Alotta starters are changed every day that are fine.

The odds are good. When the starter dies a clicking death it is the solenoid contacts that are failing. It will get more stubborn, but I am stubborn too and have nursed failing starters for months when I was young!
